When I stood at the Lexington County Democratic Convention, one question drove everything I said, why not us? Why not the people who’ve been overlooked and told to wait their turn?

And yes, I’m young. But that’s not a weakness, it’s our strength. My generation isn’t guessing about the challenges we face, we’re living them. We bring energy, urgency, and a real connection to the future we’re fighting for.

My age isn’t a barrier, it’s a bridge. A bridge to new voters, new ideas, and new possibilities.

So I’ll ask it again—why not us? And more importantly—why not now?
